Curative solution for natural control of food moths. Trichogramma are tiny parasitic insects that prey on the eggs of food moths. They feed on and lay their eggs in the food moth eggs, parasitizing them and preventing their hatching.

Description

Trichogramma are delivered in ready-to-use dispensers, each with a duration of action of one week. It is recommended to place the first dispenser in the infested area upon receipt and to store the remaining 3 dispensers in the refrigerator (storage for up to 5 weeks without reducing effectiveness). Each week, preferably on the same day, place a new dispenser in the same location as the previous one. To eliminate all parasites, the treatment should be carried out for a duration of 8 weeks. Therefore, it is recommended to renew the purchase at least once, about 3 weeks after starting the treatment. Once there are no more moth eggs, the trichogramma naturally disappear.

Detection of food moths can be done using detection traps. Therefore, a detection trap is offered with the purchase of a box of trichogramma.
